The whole experience was wonderful. The staff from Kevin; Lynsey and Nicola were absolutely fantastic. They could not do more to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was absolutely lovely and the chef kindly fitted me in. No complaints what so ever for me. I will recommend the hotel

The staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful. The buffet breakfasts had excellent choices of very good food. The room was very clean and comfortable. Stayed 6 days with no issues at all. And a great location for anything in central Bradford.

Bradford was very nice.

Bradford was very nice. I did notice a lack of leaflets describing local attractions but there were several describing places which were further away. Science & media museum superb, we travelled by bus to Shibden Hall, Halifax, Saltaire and Catwright Hall but no leaflets on any of these attractions in the hotel. the bus service was really good & the bus station only 200 metres away

Some of the remaining buildings are wonderfull examples of Victorian gothic and civic pride. However the road system is impossible for a stranger to follow. My Sat Nav was rendered incoherent! I literally had to hire a taxi to follow to get to my hotel. Dead centre with rats in the streets and lots of beggars. The Loading Bay Theatre is excellent but once again almost impossible for a stranger to find. Its as if Bradford is embarrassed to show itself, or can't be arsed!

The city itself is not so very interesting, but it is an excellent location for countless wonderful trips to other nearby cities, towns and countryside, very easily accessible by train or bus. (Leeds, York, Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough, Fountains Abbey, Halifax, Haworth, Hebden Bridge, NP Yorkshire Dales, ...... ). In Bradford, see what's playing at the beautiful historic theatre.

Bradford gets a bum rap, which is a shame as it's got so much. Overshadowed by Leeds just a few miles away (why?!), Bradford is working hard to ditch the brutal mistakes of 70s town planning - and look what's hiding underneath! Gems of Victorian architecture; an increasingly walking friendly city centre; three superb arts/music venues; and a vibrant vibe that comes for its centuries of diverse communities making the city their home. Never boring! Top tip - Waterstones! It's in the old wool trading building on Hustlergate and is truly magnificent.

Bradford has a multi-cultural historical centre and is vibrant , especially during the year of culture. The markets are also multicultural and recently renovated. Clearly a city with an interesting past and a great future. The city ihas become a real cultural hub.

We were astounded at the number and variety of beautiful buildings in the city centre. We were in foot, so explored a little of that area. Lots of food outlets, lots of shops, not big chains on the whole, so more interesting. Would go again to visit more.

The Midland Hotel. Bradford, is a significant railway hotel. It was part of a group of luxurious travel hotels throughout the country. This was built in the 1880s. Henry Irving died on the stairs here with his friend Bram Stoker by his side. It lives up to its past glory. It is near to the historic and shopping centres of the city. The décor of the major rooms is sumptuous. My bedroom was beautifully decorated. The service lives up to its status. It is spotlessly clean.

The Bankfield Hotel is quite dated now; bedrooms and the public spaces could do with a makeover - carpets very tatty. Despite this the bedooms were very clean, with lots of hot water, good towels and bed linen. Breakfast at just under £18.00 for two was buffet style average food but worth having to set you up for the day. Location and parking is ideal for Bradford & Skipton - also good bus routes and railway stations at Bingley and Saltaire

Directly in Bradford City Center, the station Bradford Interchange opposite the hotel (practical for daytrips do other cities). Very friendly staff, modern bathroom, practical room with all the amenities I needed. Perfect room temperature (outside it was cold at night, but the room was always cozy). Everything was clean. Good breakfast with some warm options. Very quiet, when I was there.

It was reasonably well positioned in Bradford and not far from the train station. Sadly that is about the best I can think of to describe the hotel. Oh yes they did have a iron and ironing board.
