All the rooms are themed. Mine was a single and small but not cramped. The bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and a good force and the breakfast was absolutely first class. Best of all though are the staff, who are welcoming, helpful and friendly. A first class stay and I will be back.

FAQs about hotels in Brighton & Hove

Colorful by Day and Night

Known for colorful nightlife and traditional English seaside pursuits, Brighton and nearby Hove are the closest beach resorts to London, making them popular end points for classic car runs from the capital. Many end at the racetrack, a few streets from Brighton Marina, Europe’s largest, housing several shops and eateries. Many Brighton guesthouses on Booking.com are also nearby.

Running along the beachfront is the world’s oldest operating electric train, ending by Brighton Pier. Lit up at night and also known as Palace Pier, this city icon houses amusements and rides, and is one place to pick up some famous Brighton Rock, the confectionery sharing its name with an edgy Graham Greene novel set here.

A new addition, the Brighton Wheel is right by the pier, while one of its most famous attractions is the Royal Pavilion, a former royal retreat built in Indian style.

Just west are 2 of the most popular Brighton shopping spots – Churchill Square shopping center and The Lanes with its narrow streets and unusual shops. This area also has several Brighton hotels with parking, and the Artists Quarter, a series of ex-fishing huts that are now galleries. Arts + culture are big in Brighton, and Brighton Festival is the UK’s 2nd largest arts festival, while Brighton Pride is also a big event on the annual calendar.

Take the Hop on Hop Off bus initially to see everything then stop wherever you like. It was a great way to see things we might have missed and we learned a fair bit of history as well. Brighton is a delightful, quirky city that embraces everyone’s uniqueness and creativity. We particularly enjoyed the ‘devil-may-care’ attitude to fashion. Wonderful

After not being to Brighton for almost ten years we decided to see if f it was still as friendly and vibrant as we remembered , it was many of the places we used to visit may have changed management but were still as enjoyable , we will most certainly return again soon and we intend to stay at The Seaspray in the Eden suite again too. A short walk from the hotel was a small very popular Italian restaurant where we dined more than once , great food and a great price , The Marine Tavern again just a short stroll was as friendly and welcoming as we found it to be those years ago we are a heterosexual married couple in our 60’s The Marine Tavern is a small LGBTQ pub and we can honestly say we were made most welcome and the entertainment which was free was excellent .The Lanes both North and South were bustling and vibrant very few shops were boarded up unlike many other cities . We walked along the promenade and went on the pier which were very clean and well kept.

Took an overnight stay with my 3 children (9-16).

Took an overnight stay with my 3 children (9-16). Pebble beach, lots of area to walk with tide in. We went on a Saturday and the streets around town were bustling but everyone in good spirits. Lots of retro / unusual clothes shops, jewellery stalls, and lots of shops. An array of eating establishments from your standard Bella/Pizza brands through to hong kong take outs. Such a diverse area that everyone fits in and could feel comfortable. Pier was great. Very confusing over payment of rides as you need to buy a payment card then only some of the amusements would accept- others wanted individual payment. Every member of staff friendly including inside the end arcade.

Stayed at Marina and wanted to visit Brighton Pier and the surrounding area. Not familiar with the area so left the car at hotel and caught a 7 bus. Very impressed as buses run every 2 mins so no long waiting time and arrived within 20 minutes. We had a wonderful time visiting the lanes. I have never seen a town with so many shops. From the usual ones to bespoke to high end. Also so many restaurants to choose from - from all around the World! So impressive. Brighton has so much beautiful architecture with the stunning Prince Regent Palace!! After shopping we had a lovely afternoon drinking cocktails on the Pier and finished the day off with a superb fish and chips in the Suffolk Arms which had lovely friendly staff. We encountered some very friendly locals and enjoyed our two day break immensely. We stayed at the Malmaison which was a fabulous stay. Just love Brighton which has so much to offer and will definitely visit again!!

always a great experience to visit Brighton, there is a lot to do, a walk through the lanes is often eye opening just seeing the different types of people and clothing, sea front has a great walkway with lots of bars, eating places and some interesting little shops, beach may not be to everyone liking as very pebbly, however it does not seem to stop many people enjoying it. wide range of shops and some excellent eating establishments, do your research to make the most of your time there are a couple of fish restaurants worth a visit avoid chains and fast food for the best experiences. Brighton is more than a single town it is a collection of areas to investigate.
