I love Brixham. I love seafood. I love the harbour.
I love Brixham. I love seafood. I love the harbour. I love the people. But it is difficult to drive round with narrow roads and terrible parking. Having said that, we did park and we did get around. Booking at the popular restaurants is essential. We like sitting in or outside pubs and cafés watching the world go by. Brixham is perfect for that. We loved Breakwater Café, Shoals, Rockfish and Bay Head Hotel plus David's fish and chips. This Pub/Hotel is on the main Brixham Road right next to the Dartmouth Steam Railway and very easy to miss as you whizz past. The staff as super friendly and very attentive. The room was freshly decorated with everything you could need including a nice hot bath! The best feature however is the fantastic food served in the bar.
