Friendly staff, spacious clean room and wonderful bath! There was a nice seating area out fron of the hotel to have a drink or a bite to eat. Located right in the middle of town. We ate dinner and breakfast there and food was good.

We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it! The cottage was incredibly cosy, with every little detail thoughtfully put together. The design is beautiful – you can really see how much care and effort the owners have put into creating such a welcoming space. The highlight was the homemade organic wholemeal loaf left for us – such a lovely and unexpected surprise. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back soon.

    Unspoilt, unpretentious, relaxed small town with friendly people and fabulous cafe by the river. Great location for Cumbria and Northumberland, for walking and sightseeing. Solo travellers will feel at home here.

    The Wilding Hotel was absolutely lovely! Stylish but cosy decor, incredibly comfy bed and one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had at a hotel. The staff were all lovely and made our weekend away feel like a real treat. Perfect for any couple wanting to get away for the weekend and stay somewhere of real quality. Felt much more high end than the price tag implies - would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the north lakes.

    Absolutely everything. This hotel was such a wonderful find. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The premises were immaculate, the food amazing and the attention to detail was second to none. Such a fabulous, relaxing weekend. Will definitely book again. For those looking for adventure - it’s in the quiet old market town of Brough with easy access to both the Lake District and Yorkshire.
