The staff were very accommodating, we were travelling with our dog and had reserved a dog friendly room. The room contained a dog bed for our dog to use while we stayed there and a little gift bag for our dog including treats. It was almost as if dogs were "welcomed" instead of being seen as a hindrance. We appreciated them making us feel at home.

Such an amazing and wonderful host. A personal touch of hospitality made our stay memorable. Room had all the facilities the one may need. (Kinda studio) A kitchenette made the life so easy to cook light meals. Parking space. Super clean. A pantry for guests.

Location and facilities were excellent. I was met by the host and shown around. He had fresh bread, milk, eggs and fruit left for our breakfast. The townhouse was very comfortable and everything you could want was provided.

This hostel was way better than expected. The pictures don't make it justice. It is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plenty and varied. The location was excelent, right next to the castle and port. We were there for a man vs mountain event but we will come again, and we were sorry we could not stay longer. The hosts were very welcoming.

This is a beautiful property, which is exceptionally well run. We truly enjoyed our stay and found it really great value. The room was beautiful and the welcome we received from the staff was wonderful. We had dinner at the restaurant and it is honestly one of the top five restaurant meals I've ever eaten. The grounds are truly lovely.

The castle is impressive and rightly the main attraction. Segontium also interesting though museum closed. Just had one meal out - very pleasant lunch opposite the castle. Meals at the hotel were excellent so did not venture further afield.

The main attraction is the castle, which is enormous and quite extraordinary. Needs a good couple of hours at least. The town is also interesting and colourful. Other attractions within relatively easy reach.

The area around the castle is quaint and attractive. There’s lots to explore in the castle and the displays are interesting and informative. For eating and drinking you’re spoilt for choice. There’s plenty of convenient parking and it’s not too expensive. It’s a good base for visiting nearby attractions.

If you want to climb Snowdonia, it is a great location and a 30 minute bus ride. Also, the castle's preservation is one of the best. A delightful town which is really trying to attract visitors.

The town is steeped in history, is a fantastic location, and an ideal base for wider exploration of Snowdonia . My interest was in the little steam trains of Wales, of which there are an abundance within easy reach by car from Caernarfon. I choose the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways, but during the summer, there are several others including the Snowdon Mountain Railway, the Llanberis Lake Railway. If you are prepared to venture further afield, to the south is the Talyllyn railway near Barmouth, the Fairbourne Railway, also near Barmouth and a bit further south at Aberystwyth, the Vale of Rheidol Railway, all of which I highly recommend.

The accommodation is quite clean. The showers are shared, with two on each floor, and the toilets are separate. The dormitory rooms have a total of 8 beds and can be arranged as male or female only. Inside the room, there are both fans and heaters, but no hairdryer is provided. The room rate includes breakfast, which usually consists of bread, jam, milk, coffee, cornflakes, and yogurt. The hotel is conveniently located, not far from the castle, Iceland, and Asda, with many restaurants around the area.

Absolutely lovely hotel in pretty excellent condition other than usual minor wear. The rooms are spacious, the communal areas are beautiful around the grand staircase. The food is also delicious. The staff are so polite, helpful and nothing is too much especially thanks to Jude on reception who was exceptionally Helpful and informative of every thing. Jacuzzi/pool could be a little warmer. Great location, not far from Mount Snowdon

The main public areas are very good - a typical British pub. It has a great location by the sea and next to one of the best castles in Wales and the UK and is close to the town centre. The full English breakfast was excellent and the service very good. You need to remember that the staff are local people and not what you would expect in central London. But this is North Wales and you want to get away from central London!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The hostess was absolutely lovely—warm & welcoming. Our room was cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After a long day hiking, the relaxing bath was a real treat. The location couldn’t be better—right within the historic walls of Caernarfon Castle, giving us a truly unique and memorable experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
