Staff were super friendly and welcoming, our room and the hotel in general were immaculate. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely stay again. The menus, both for the bar and restaurant, as well as the room service menu, were amazing and the food was delicious.

There was nothing we didn't like, the location is perfect only 8 mins from East Midlands Airport, the building is beautiful and the view of the river is stunning , the staff were all very nice and friendly, we had a fantastic evening meal and the breakfast was awesome, we will definitely stopping at this gem again.

    We were pleased with the friendly and helpful staff on duty, after a delayed flight. Our room was spotless and very well appointed, enabling us to relax after a tiring journey and enjoy a uninterrupted sleep in the comfy bed and not having any overhead plane noise at all because of the triple glazed windows.

    Castle Donnington is the name of the nearby Village, which...

    Castle Donnington is the name of the nearby Village, which is quaint and a nice place to explore, the High Street is packed with hair and beauty salons due to a great nearby wedding venue so there's big demand for these services. Also nice quirky gift shops, prosecco cafés, bars and restaurants. The village is overlooked by the impressive St Edwards church in the center of the village on a raised plot.

    Holiday Inn Express was just fab and we will definitely stay there next time. Every member of staff was friendly and SO helpful, we couldn't praise them adequately. We have recommended this Inn to many people . Unfortunately it was late in afternoon when we arrived at Holiday Inn so we didn't get to visit Castle Donington but we hope to pay a visit next time pg.

    Convenient for 1 night stopover for airport. 24 HR bus service. Couple of decent Indian restaurants, Gandis restaurant in the village was my best ever curry although we did not stay long enough to sample the others

    Room and Hotel fine.

    Room and Hotel fine. One draught Lager on offer no beer only bottles. The menu offerings was not as on the Webb. No Steak no cheese and biscuits had to ask. Choice of three sweets only no fish veggie limited My wife had to have Goat cheese and salad as a main no salad dressing. One starter was off comment was it’s a new menu. But breakfast was good.

    Great location for Donington Race Track. Good communication when an issue arose with our room. The team couldn't do enough to help resolve it for us. For our 3 night stay having the kitchen facilities was really useful and for a compact space it still contained everything we needed. Great water pressure in the shower.

    Pool and gym facilities. The pool is not very big or deep, but i managed to get most of it to myself at 0630 hrs. Gym was relatively busy at 1930 hrs but I was able to get on everything I needed. Hotel was room was pleasant and quiet. Good location and plenty of parking spaces. I will stay here again.

    Proximity to East Midlands Airport was good. Which was the main reason for staying at this hotel. The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. We had breakfast which set us up for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a bus directly to the airport from outside the hotel.
