Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end, was only here for one night and we have all agreed we cannot wait to come back again. Cottage was warm upon arrival and spotless. Hot tub was ready and warm when we arrived. Had everything you need and more, if you are looking for a good escape and love waking up to the countryside, then this is a an absolute gem. It exceeded my expectations for the budget price that we had to pay. I was blown away with what we had for the cost of our stay. £40 for two people and there was a sauna, a gym, a steam room. Although budget it's 100% worth and value for money, but remember it is a budget. Stay bear that in mind the holiday is what you make it. We met some wonderful people. Thank you for this day. I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was great

The property was very clean, perfect location for anyone visiting Alton towers, very comfy beds, lovely village, quiet, it had all of the appliances and supplies we needed for travelling with our baby, modern but also a nice homey cottage atmosphere. It's a lovely studio apartment, very clean and light. The bed is comfortable, the little kitchen has all the crockery and pans you need for a holiday and the two-ring electric hob warms up quickly. And it has underfloor heating, which was a joy to come 'home' to after a day out in January! The location is fantastic, with really stunning views. It snowed almost every day we were there, which was beautiful to wake up to. The roads are gritted, so we didn't even have too much trouble getting around despite the snow and ice, although there was one evening when we parked over the road instead of on site, because our Aygo with summer tyres couldn't get up the frozen cobbled drive. There are two pubs and a children's playground very close to the flat, and it's a great area for walks. You're also only 15 minutes or so from Cheadle in one direction and it's just a bit longer to get to the city. We had a wonderful stay.

A small, yet quite lovely little place. The thing that makes it is the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, a great place! There isn’t an abundance of shops and if you want a quick and cheap bite to eat there are a few weatherspoon/hungry horse type of places around.

A cute village feel with some lovely history and quite a few cute shops. Plenty of choices for take away food locally and our host had thoughtfully left these with our personal welcome note, which was a lovely touch.

We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to...

We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to the resort. Alton Towers is in the middle of nowhere, and signage sometimes led us part way, and then just stopped. The SatNav lost signal, and Google Maps saved the day. We had a fantastic day - it was our granddaughter's 4th birthday, and her first trip to a theme part. We were lucky with the weather, so couldn't fault anything. The queues for the rides weren't too bad, and as we brought picnics, we didn't need to wait for refreshment.

The location was beautiful, great views. The house really well equipped for our group of 7 & clean. The hot tub was massive, generous outdoor seating area / table. BBQ a decent size. 30 ish minute walk into Cheadle, plenty of Supermarkets nearby

The location was perfect for my training based in Cheadle High Street, and the house was not far from the local shops, restaurants, etc, all conveniently within walking distance. Plenty of parking on the street is available.
