Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end, was only here for one night and we have all agreed we cannot wait to come back again. Cottage was warm upon arrival and spotless. Hot tub was ready and warm when we arrived. Had everything you need and more, if you are looking for a good escape and love waking up to the countryside, then this is a an absolute gem. Thank you so much we can't wait to return!!

This is our second visit to The Bridge House, so we obviously like it a lot. The accommodations are beautiful, the food excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is nestled at the base of the woods, so the views and walks are amazing!! Grab a drink, sit outside near the babbling brook and picturesque bridge, as you see Alton Castle above.

It exceeded my expectations for the budget price that we had to pay. I was blown away with what we had for the cost of our stay. £40 for two people and there was a sauna, a gym, a steam room. Although budget it's 100% worth and value for money, but remember it is a budget. Stay bear that in mind the holiday is what you make it. We met some wonderful people. Thank you for this day. I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was great

The property was very clean, perfect location for anyone visiting Alton towers, very comfy beds, lovely village, quiet, it had all of the appliances and supplies we needed for travelling with our baby, modern but also a nice homey cottage atmosphere. Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends.

Accommodating host, understanding of the weather as it was raining all day at alton towers so they left the heating on etc. Very nice cozy clean property. They even had some fresh milk tea coffee and sugar. Really good!

    A small, yet quite lovely little place.

    A small, yet quite lovely little place. The thing that makes it is the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, a great place! There isn’t an abundance of shops and if you want a quick and cheap bite to eat there are a few weatherspoon/hungry horse type of places around.

    A cute village feel with some lovely history and quite a few cute shops. Plenty of choices for take away food locally and our host had thoughtfully left these with our personal welcome note, which was a lovely touch.

    We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to...

    We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to the resort. Alton Towers is in the middle of nowhere, and signage sometimes led us part way, and then just stopped. The SatNav lost signal, and Google Maps saved the day. We had a fantastic day - it was our granddaughter's 4th birthday, and her first trip to a theme part. We were lucky with the weather, so couldn't fault anything. The queues for the rides weren't too bad, and as we brought picnics, we didn't need to wait for refreshment.

    The room was very well laid out, clean and comfortable, plenty of space. Well equipped and modern. Breakfast was very generous and delicious and host very accommodating and very friendly. The guest house is very well placed for Alton Towers, about 15 minutes drive and we loved being able to walk into Cheadle to get dinner and anything else we needed. We had a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend and return.

    Abbey is a wonderful host and incredibly helpful. The room was beautifully furnished, very clean and had everything we could need. The homely touch makes it much nicer than staying in a hotel, it's the home away from home. Also perfect for getting to Alton Towers as it was only a 15 mins drive. Would highly recommend!

    Lovely friendly staff and the bonus of having dinner outside in the lodge with live entertainment was a brilliant bonus! It was also an amazing location for us to travel to Alton Towers the next day. Highly recommend this lovely little hotel
