Came to the area for a friend’s wedding which was at the town hall, and as self catering didn’t really eat out much as only stayed a few days. It was just a lovely stay , you need a car to travel about and explore beautiful towns near to congleton . I enjoyed holmes chapel which wasn’t far. The food in the Swettenham arms was very nice . Also the. Red lion too if you want basic meals. I’m sure there are lovely walks but didn’t get that far as it was much too cold went I went .
