Everything about our stay at Copthorne number 9 . Was perfect, would definitely recommend if flying from Gatwick... A spacious apartment, a fully equipped KITCHEN ( home from home ) , BATHROOM , shower & bath, heated towel rail .( Towels white clean fluffy ) BEDROOM, double bed , wardrobe for clothes , ironing board / iron . Desk with chair . FRONT ROOM a spacious room ,very large sofa( probably a 5 seater ) a two seater , dining table & chairs . Tv Copthorne parking for Gatwick is only a 5 to 10min drive , with shuttle transfers

1. Incredibly beautiful quiet countryside setting an hour from London Heathrow. It is an old manor set amongst meadows and woodlands, exquisitely maintained, with gorgeous gardens of produce and romantic walkways. 2. The service was impeccable (hard to find these days), without a single flaw. The motto seemed to be "your wish is our command". "Izzy" at reception was very proactive in making sure we had the massage we requested on very short notice on arrival, kudos to her. Laundry would be delivered same-day at reasonable prices. Restaurant service was white table cloth and professional. Room service arrived at the requested time, hot and as requested. The Do Not Disturb sign was honored. 3. The multi-course fine dining experience was perfect , with brilliant service and a very helpful sommelier who assisted in navigating the massive wine list. Breakfast juices were fresh-squeezed and delicious. 4. Our upper floor spacious room ("Pear"), had a deep, copper-coated tub and separate shower, a high ceiling, and a very comfortable bed, mini-bar, adequate hanging space and drawers including bedside drawers. I was happy that key information about Gravetye for guests did not require use of a QR code, but was instead printed and accessible, the old-fashioned way. 5. Hosts provided a pre-printed list of five local walks one could do straight from Gravetye, without having to drive.

We liked the receptionists ( Sharon and Chloe) they went out of thier way to help us and welcome us... We booked again because of the friendly staff , only downside is no elevator ..So don't bring heavy bags.

The room was larger than I had anticipated. So was the TV which was great. I loved the fact that the Manager texted to see if everything was OK. Nice touch. Also appreciated being being allowed to stay in the cafe area until my flight.

Very welcoming receptionist. Our room was ready so we could check at just after 11 AM, we were very grateful. Breakfast was great, good value for £12, must pay ahead of time to get that rate.

    It is the perfect overnight stop for those wishing to use the parking for Gatwick airport as it is literally a couple of hundred yards away from the Inn. We will use it any we have to arrive the night before a flight in the future.

    Convenient for one night for an early flight next day. Host ought to heat the place when people are arriving. Due to motorway accident we didn’t get there until 10.30pm and it was freezing cold. Not at all welcoming. Also nothing there to even make a hot cuppa, considering most people stay just a night to get a flight next day, you arent really going to be taking milk with you are you. Bed was comfortable, however as it was so ice cold, it was freezing and obviously we were keen to sleep after an arduous journey and a 3.30am wake up next day. So went to bed in T-shirt leggings and socks! Curtains would also make it more homely and warm (just my opinion) would only stay again if it was warmer months. Just a bit of consideration and thought by the hosts would go a long way.
