Great castle to visit, a very good interpretive centre at the entrance. Lovely sandy beaches and lots of good cafes and pubs. Handy to bus and train transport. From the fluffy towels to the fabulous kitchen, outside space, view, plenty of mirrors, sockets,comfy bed, great shower. It was perfect. It’s a 10 minute walk into Criccieth and to the nearest beach. The room had an amazing view and we really enjoyed sitting in the bay window looking out, praying and reading and resting. The room was spacious and spotless and bed very comfortable. The location was just near Criccieth Castle and it was a minutes walk to the beach just below our window! It is very quiet and so provides for a restful sleep. As a place to stay I cannot recommend Glanllifon highly enough. The hosts make every effort to make your stay comfortable and easy.
