We had a lovely suite. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent. Bathroom very clean. Lots of seating areas in the foyer and bar area. The food was delicious, good choice of wines and spirits. Some lovely cocktails I'd never had anywhere else. It was really wild weather but we were cosy inside. Enjoyed watching the wild waves and the hardy golfers attempting a round.

Loved this stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff exceptional! They went above and beyond in providing us a meal even though their food service closed before we could make it. They also were kind enough to go and get a coat (my favorite) and hold it for me after I had left it behind. Thank you so much for a great experience.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Clashmore House. What better welcome than freshly baked scones! Stuart and Mandy are wonderfully hosts and their house is beautiful. We very much enjoyed playing scrabble by a roaring fire and watching red squirrels play as we had a fantastic home cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend and we will return when next “up North”.

Dornoch surprised us with its beauty - a thriving little town with lovely little shops and obviously proud of its local history. Well-kept and clean it was a pleasure to walk around. The museum is excellent - well laid out presentations on different aspects and characters of the town's past and some interesting videos. The beach is beautiful too and well worth a visit. Plenty of choice for where to eat. We had an excellent dinner at The Eagle and lunch next day at the lovely Sandstone Cafe. Highly recommend both.

Absolutely loved our stay!

Absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. The food was top-notch, and the bar was a real highlight—especially the whiskey selection, which is second to none. The village is charming and perfectly located for exploring the Highlands. Highly recommend spending a few nights at this spectacular hotel!

Clearly Dornoch is a mecca for golfers but it also has a wonderful beach, lovely shops and good restaurants. There are plenty of local walks and and Scottish heritage to explore. It is also very safe for cyclists. There's bags to do and it doesn't all depend on the weather. We go every year. Its a wee corner of heaven.

Dornoch is a lovely town with good mix of shops and eating places, great wee museum too with a tonne of history to marvel at. Beaches are stunning. You can walk for miles and only pass a few folk even during the peak summer period. I missed local artists and their ware, I'm sure there must of been some somewhere but the shops had a great variety of lovely stuff you can easily loose your money too.

The area was quite scenic, historic, and had many restaurants, bars, and social activities to cater to all members of a family. The town itself is clean, and was very busy in the early part of the season. Due to the numbers visiting, well-advised to book ahead to guarantee a meal at your restaurant/pub of choice.

From the first moment we arrived and checked in at reception from Gabriel, he was very welcoming and knowledgeable and responded to our needs, throughout our stay, all staff were on par, but Gabriel more memorable...what a wonderful twismiss break we had at the Dornoch Station hotel, this is the third Marine & Lawn we have visted, russacks and Troon all excellent and all j would recommend 👌

The character of the cottage, the comfort and cosiness. The beds were the comfiest I’ve ever had. The garden was amazing and with views over the village. Dornoch is beautiful. Good food. Definitely would stay again here. Lots of little things throughout to make out stay really good. Coal fire amazing.

Big room overlooking the street. Loved the size of the bed and bathroom. I stayed yo attend a wedding and had plenty of space to get ready. Breakfast was lovely just has to be pre-ordered. Loved staying in Dornoch the location pf the hotel is really convenient.
