This was my fourth visit and everything about the Black Hat is amazing. Tony and his staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room, facilities and the fantastic food (including breakfast) was exceptional. Absolutely love this place.

A high quality and comfortable hotel with very helpful and polite staff. The hotel has stunning views of Burnstall and the River Wharfe, in a very tranquil location. The room had a very comfortable bed and good bathroom with a separate shower and bath. The included breakfast was excellent and the serving staff very attentive.

    Howgill Barn is a lovely place to stay.

    Howgill Barn is a lovely place to stay. Fabulous accommodation set in Draughton which is a very pretty village not far from Ripon. There is no village shop or pub, but that doesn't matter as its a short drive into Ripon. The barn is well placed to visit Bolton Abbey and beautiful surrounding countryside. We visited Thruscross and Swinsty reservoir which we walked around with our dog.
