Absolutely outstanding service and friendliest staff we’ve ever seen. They make you feel like the lord in the castle. Great breakfast, very nice whisky selection and amazing sitting rooms to have a read, a drink or an afternoon tea near the fireplace. I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel, and it was truly a magical experience from start to finish. Nestled right in front of Loch Ness, the views were nothing short of spectacular… waking up to that scenery was like a dream 🩷 The location is unbeatable, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the warmth and care of the incredible staff. They were not only professional, but genuinely sweet and thoughtful. It happened to be my birthday during the stay, and they went above and beyond to make me feel special. It was the kind of thoughtful service you never forget. The hotel itself has a lovely leisure vibe, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of the Highlands. We did a lovely cruise through the Loch Ness and it was out of this world! The restaurant was fantastic, with delicious food and cozy ambiance… every meal felt like a treat but those mushrooms as starters are to dying for!!! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views, amazing food, and top-notch service, I wholeheartedly recommend the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel. The room was massive and warm and so comfortable. Very clean, the bed was a dream. Stewart made me feel welcome from the get go and took the time to suggest some other spots I could go see, which turned out to be 100% worth it. The view from my room was to die for, so I slept woth the curtains open. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the bunker. My daughter loved the family room with a bunk bed. The sleeping bag experience provided a laugh. The shared kitchen was very good, with everything you could imagine. Walking around the area, we even saw a deer. Great location. We also tried the restaurant and really liked it.

    A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart...

    A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.

    This is from previous experience as the hotel I stayed in was some distance outside. Drumnadrochit is a lovely little town and well worth stopping over for a night on your travels. The people are friendly and helpful and I have visited many times over the years and always found it pleasant.

    Fab little village, friendly and welcoming.

    Fab little village, friendly and welcoming. Great base for exploring the area. Just plan your evening meals as not much choice after 5pm. Everything Nessi related can be found here. Gift shops offer a great range. Plenty of forest/waterfall walks around the area as well.

    The town (or village) is very nice and compact. It has the perfect location, very close to Uruqhart Castle and the Loch Ness itself, and at the same time has a direct access to the Affric and Uruqhart Glen, west to Loch Ness. However, if you are more interested in the eastern shores of Loch Ness, you shouldn't stay in Drumnadrochit, because then you'll have to drive at least an hour

    I was warned of difficulty finding somewhere to eat and thus booked ahead at the Loch Ness Inn, which was quite good and there was music there as well. The town has a lovely couple of Highland Coos, Rocky and Hamish, which we were able to feed grass from the fence-line. We headed up to the Clansman Harbour and had a magnificent cruise on Loch Ness, which travelled down to Urquhart Castle and back. It was an absolute highlight of our trip.

    I’ve passed through many times going to Inverness.. it’s a lovely wee town, really peaceful, we got a lovely Chinese am not joking it was the best Chinese ever! Will be coming back next month, we went up to Inverness for the day but we did plan to book the Loch Ness cruise but it was fully booked! So hopefully get the change next month.

    Everything from reception to departure was fantastic! Our rooms were the best we have had on our trip to Scotland, the meal in the restaurant was amazing and breakfast was superb! A staff member, Dean, was the most helpful, friendly, polite, and very professional! He is definitely an asset to the business. We will definitely return to this hotel for a longer stay. We will also recommend friends and family to stay here on future trips to Scotland. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

    The Loch Ness Inn was even better than I expected from the photos/information available. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast and dinner at the restaurant downstairs were excellent – the quality of food was brilliant, and everything was incredibly tasty!
