    Eastleigh is nice for an evening walk.

    Eastleigh is nice for an evening walk. We used the property as a starting point to travel to nearby locations by train (train station opposite of the property) or by car with friends (car park next to the train station). One stop from the airport; no noise from air traffic at all.

    Eastleigh is an area with beautiful quaint English towns and villages to visit. There are numerous small shops/businesses and plenty restaurants and cafes to enjoy. It is also the perfect location for visiting Southampton ad the New Hampshire Forest.

    Eastleigh itself was great lovely shops cafes. 6 miles away from Southampton and 12 miles away from Winchester. Found a nice steam train and cafe place with amazing walks with lakes. Cinema and places to eat out.

    Lovely place, plenty to see and do.

    Lovely place, plenty to see and do. Close to Winchester and Southampton by road and train. Not to crowded good variety of shops and pubs with plenty of places to eat as well. Bournemouth and Poole aren't so far away either. We visited to see a friend, but most things are either in a short car ride or walking distance. We ate in the bar at the hotel, and the Beefeater along the Bournemouth Road which is reasonable. The M3 junction is along Leigh Road at the top end of town, easily accessible. There is a good bus service and roads are easy to traverse. There is a Wetherspoons opposite the station in Eastleigh, but it does get very busy. Plenty of other places to eat, but booking is advisable, the Harvester on top of the Swan centre is lovely, but definitely needs booking.

    The staff and facilities were ok but warnings that a lot of children were in the hotel should be given. Definitely a families break hotel not for quick visits. Parking should not be charged. Breakfast should be included in the price.

    If you want a base town to run from Eastleigh is just that...

    If you want a base town to run from Eastleigh is just that one and when you have had a busy day a great place to calm down with a great weatherproof pub for a great evening so no cooking .that's holidaying !@@!!!!!

    Staying at lakeside lodge was dreamy. It has a lovely relaxed homely feel to it but with the luxuries you’d find at a hotel. It was absolutely spotless and felt like Jackie had taken care when creating this space that it feels like a genuine treat to stay at rather than a bed to crash in for the night. We were completely at ease during our stay, instructions were really clear and we would love to return!

    The hotel had plenty of parking spaces and was very busy. The staff were very helpful, bedrooms/bathrooms were modern, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful. There were other facilities at the hotel not used this time but and the location was fantastic for us and we will definitely be returning!

    An absolutely fantastic gem of a hotel ~ from the incredible Art Deco-esque design, to being greeted by what must be officially the loveliest, most helpful night porter EVER, to my gorgeous, large and beautifully decorated room ~ the whole experience was just wonderful, from start to finish!
