We stayed at Hever Castle as we had tickets for Anne Boleyn the musical. The accommodation was excellent, the food very good and the service was everything to be expected. There is car parking very close to the accommodation, free entry to the castle and grounds on both days before and after the nights stay. I really enjoyed being close to the castle and had the opportunity to walk in the grounds after dark. The lounge had an open fire , which was lovely. All of the staff were friendly and clearly take a pride in their work. Standards of cleanliness were excellent. As a solo traveller, I would highly recommend the Astor Suite. Lovely room with a bath. The local pub was being refurbished which meant I had to look at other options for dinner as no evening meals are served on site. Breakfast made up for it though with lots of choices available. The castle and grounds are stunning and staff are very informative.( The neon sign on the doughnut van, parked outside slightly spoiled the overall mood but I’m just being picky! ) I will definitely be returning soon!Guest review byKerry - 10.0
