    Forres is a lovely friendly town.

    Forres is a lovely friendly town. It has lots of shops to browse. Grants parks amazing for children and any 4 legged friends. Chimes is a Great coffee shop. There was lots going on within the town with it being Remembrance Sunday.

    we loved the house and garden,the hot tub,everything was great,the down side was the river was to fast to allow the kids or dogs to go in and the garden wasnt secure but we managed fine,would like to rebook for 2023

    I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily...

    I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily Cottage. It was spotlessly clean,well appointed and has everything that one would need for a fantastic holiday in Findhorn. Pub, Bakehouse, Hotel, Cafe and beaches all within walking distance. Parked my car for the duration of the stay. Didn’t need it. The cottage is finished to a high standard and beautifully furnished.

    Our stay in Forres was good.

    Our stay in Forres was good. We were most impressed with the Mosset Tavern and the chippy next door. We were visiting relatives so did'nt do much site seeing, but visited Logie Steading Gallery and most impressed

    Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray...

    Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray Firth coast. There are still independent shops and beautiful well-kept green park areas. It has a Victorian heritage. There are a number of pubs with nice areas to sit out in. Forres is also well-connected for road, rail and air links. It forms a good base for exploring or for business visits.

    Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street.

    Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street. Grant Park was lovely. Huge area of lovely flower beds and play park for children. For lovers of archaeology the Huge Suennos Stone is situated in the town.

    The little huts were great and much warmer than anticipated. There were two of us and 2 dogs and we were comfortable in the space. We didn't use it, but it was a lovely little touch to have a TV available and the firepits outside. The location is beautiful, great for watching the sheep with your morning coffee and only a short drive into Forres, Nairn or Inverness. Karen was really friendly and welcoming, checking we'd arrived safely and saying hello when in and around the huts. Was great to find a dog friendly location too!

    This is a small but perfectly functional place for a short stay. It has everything you could need in a small area. Small fridge for milk and small drinks ( fans of small bottles) Bed is comfortable. There's only 1 chair but as my husband is disabled, he had the chair, a!lowing me to relax on the bed! Wi-Fi is excellent, wet room is beautiful! Parking available on the road outside the house, and an ideal location for exploring the beautiful town of Forres and stunning surrounding countryside, beaches and woodland walks!

    I liked the vibe of the hotel, staff were very friendly and excellent value for money. It was very handy for letting call tourist attractions. Breakfast was included and we were given two complimentary drinks vouchers to use in the bar.

    Breakfast was excellent, exceeded expectations. Room was very clean with lots of additional extras, eg lotion, biscuits, nice tea, etc. Local taxi service into Forres in the evening was also really good.
