My mum and I had a wonderful stay at Giffnock Rooms. The location is excellent, with everything you need nearby and a great restaurant just across the road. The property itself is beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we chose one with an ensuite for extra privacy, which was perfect. We also had a peek at the shared bedroom, and it looked absolutely wonderful too. Short walk to train station. £4.50 return to Glasgow centre. £22 for 4 single by taxi. 3 toilets. One bathroom with bath and shower. One room en-suite. Well equipped. Rooms far better than 3 star more 4/5 star and stylish. Food in bar/grill very good and reasonably priced. Family owned and run. All as expected. Very nice hotel. I only had toast and poached egg for breakfast but the eggs were perfect so all good. Parking always a bonus - that was the reason for me selecting this hotel as it had onsite free parking. The rooms were tastefully decorated and really spacious. Beds were super comfortable and big. My toddler couldn't sleep as the street lights were coming through the blinds so they kindly moved us to another room with less windows during the night. Breakfast was delicious.
