I needed a place to stay which I could use as a base for my...
I needed a place to stay which I could use as a base for my own planned activities: visits to Wester Ross, Inverness and Skye. The Cluannie Inn was ideal for this purpose, but other options (available on Booking.com) appear to be very good/excellent - in particular around Invergarry and Spean Bridge. Beautiful and meticulously maintained grounds and home. They have thought of everything a traveler hopes to find or wishes they would find when staying at a B & B. Delicious and sumptuous breakfast.
