Food was amazing.

Food was amazing. Lovely bathroom products and lots of personal touches made the stay memorable. Good location for visiting many sights. Main drawback was no overhead ceiling shower due to ceiling height, so shower had to be handheld, which made hair washing tricky.

Beautiful part of the world.

Beautiful part of the world. Hawkhurst is small but very well placed as a base for day-tripping from with a wealth of historic houses, gardens, castles etc within easy reach, plus good walking country.

For a second year running (in October) we celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was an equally amazing experience. This is a first class pub/hotel where they really make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. Lovely, cosy pub, great restaurant with professional service led by their excellent French maitre, super friendly staff and a beautifully decorated and equipped room. The Queen's Inn is a 10+ destination!

All staff were exceptional in their welcome, service and attention. Among the best welcomes at a hotel reception I've ever had, worldwide. The room was great (scaffolding all over the back of the building was a slight surprise). Food was very good. A radio in the room was a nice touch, together with fresh milk for the tea tray.

Very lovely little studio nicely decorated, clean and smelling beautiful. Excellent toiletries. Well positioned in Hawkhurst and quiet. Nice little garden and privacy. Good walks on your doorstep and a decent pub nearby. Lovely host
