We had a wonderful stay! Communication with the host was easy and smooth, and the check-in process went perfectly. The property itself was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet — a perfect place to relax. The host is extremely kind and helpful. She even let us charge up our car for free on our last night, which we really appreciated. Everything felt very comfortable, and overall the stay was excellent value for money. We would gladly come back again. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable! ☺️

Despite all of the problems we tried to make the most of it as we only had one evening in Hertford. Even though you have to pay an extra charge, it is good that the property accepts dogs. It is nice to have access to a pool table (as long as you aren't snobby about it being a little old and wonky which we weren't as it gave an excuse for why our shots weren't going in!) Also nice that coffee bags and ground coffee provided. Aside from the smell and the bad condition outside, inside the property was clean enough for our purposes.

    make sure you ask for the newer rooms as the old ones are not nice in anyway would not stay again unless I got one of the more modernised rooms like last visit, did not know there was such a difference in rooms or would not have stayed there.

    A historic town with many scenic walks, a good vibe and welcoming feel. Lots of places to eat and drink. We enjoyed our stay. The castle and gardens are free. There are a number of historic churches - St Leonard’s being very ancient Saxon/Norman. The town flat and full of rivers - with some pretty river walks. Pangshanger reserve was really well presented and quite accessible.

    The hotel is a great place just right for everyday travelers expectations. Clean and comfortable. The atmosphere of welcoming guests is refreshing and welcoming. Communications are great and effective in many ways. Meet disabled friendly guests in a relaxed manner.

    Excellent location and accommodation, friendly owner...

    Excellent location and accommodation, friendly owner ensuring we were happy with the accommodation and WiFi and games room available. The accommodation was very clean and homely, access to free Netflix and very warm throughout. If in area we would return, excellent for the price.

    It's full of great restaurants and pubs/bars. There's an excellent theatre/cinema called Beam. It's situated on three rivers and on the old coaching route between London and Cambridge so the environment and architecture are beautiful and historic so well worth exploring. There's even a castle where Elizabeth I visited. Plus a great leisure centre and Hartham Park. If you like nightlife - that's also great with clubs, bars, a Pool club and friendly pubs.

    It was beautiful enough to make you think you was away far away, the views were amazing and to have the animals walking around just made it. The shops are close too! Highly recommend carlys fish shop, absolutely spot on.

    Massively comfy and nice, the bed was very comfortable, and Everything was neat and clean, The Kitchen does have essentials like coffee, and sugar, I mean what else you can ask for? It was indeed lovely to be here, the location is perfectly fine at least for me. It is only 17 minutes walk is the Town Centre, I walked on both Consecutive days I stayed here. Hertford is full of nice pubs and cafés so perfect. 👌 I'll definitely come back again.

    Atmospheric and beautiful building, so much of a contrast to even the very best luxury hotels, with their bland and anodyne presentation. Happy, friendly staff lifts the mood even further. Great food at reasonable prices too. The very best furnishings, lighting and fittings in the bathroom. All round excellent.
