The very warm welcome from our hosts, late in the evening. We loved the warm and cosy bedroom and bathroom facilities.In the morning we loved seeing the beautiful gardens and watched a variety of birds feeding in the sunshine. Breakfast, as mentioned in several other reviews, was very good indeed. We can’t recommend this cottage enough. Thank you.

Beautiful country-chic pub, with a heavenly garden, roaming peacocks and fluffy hens. The food is first class with local sourced products. We spent the night and the room was lovely, nicely decorated and spacious. Last but not least, the staff and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This place is a little piece of heaven on Earth. We will certainly visit it again.

Amazing hotel. Rooms are big enough, clean, bathroom exceptional with shower and bath. Provided with all necessary for a comfortable stance, kettle, coffee, tea, milk, warm and cosy. Bed was bigger that I've ever seen. Swimming pool, hot tube, sauna, steam bath, was perfect. Changing rooms clean and with lockers to lock all your staff. Water temperature was perfect, and swimming pool was clean. Food is amazing, and breakfast was wonderful. Definetly a place I would recommend to everyone that is on that area. Staff very friendly, approachable, and welcoming. Loved this hotel.

A very cozy hotel in a picturesque little town. The hotel was in a very new and freshly renovated condition. The room was very clean and the box spring bed was very comfortable. The owners put a lot of thought into the room equipment, we had almost everything you could ask for: Bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel and hand cream, fresh milk in the fridge as well as a selection of different teas and coffee, cereals, dishes and cutlery, smart TV with internet. There was a very amazing breakfast which was brought directly to our room. Highly recommended!

    We had a very enjoyable day out in Plymouth, visiting Plymouth Hoe and King William’s docks. We drove to Bigbury, a lovely expanse of sand and walked across to Burgh Island at low tide. We had a delicious lunch at Shilstone cafe, a short drive away from Ugborough. However, the narrow Devon roads can be quite challenging.

    We liked the nature and the view from our room.

    We liked the nature and the view from our room. The hosts were lovely too and not too far from Plymouth but quiet enough to not hear any traffic! We stayed for a tiger experience at dartmoor zoo and the b and b lived up to our expectations.

    I was looking into my family history, I recommend the local...

    I was looking into my family history, I recommend the local library ,it's a real hub to the community. I had a wonderful afternoon there, I recommend a scones and hot chocolate as well. Not forgetting the brewery, it's a small micro,only open certain times of the week, so look up online first.

    We were very lucky with the weather and had a wonderful walk...

    We were very lucky with the weather and had a wonderful walk on Dartmoor. We were happy with the local shops and parking. Ivybridge has much interesting local history too ! Near the noisy A38, but this makes Ivybridge very accessible! We made a couple of trips to the coast from Ivybridge too.

    A small town with good shops to browse including supermarkets. Great base to walk Dartmoor & explore the south Devon coast by car. History of American soldiers training for the D Day landings & their inspiration for the film Saving Private Ryan.

    Very clean rooms, great bathroom and shower. Was nice having a big TV to watch shows too, breakfast provided in the mornings with milk, croissants, pain au chocolat etc. The hosts were also very quick at responding to any queries. Great value for money

    I have stayed in the Annex at Middle Filham. As before I was greeted by my host on arrival to greet me and see me into the property. We caught up on events since I was last there it was like a friendly homecoming. Inside the annex the heating was already on and although it was near freezing outside it was warm and cosy inside. The location is quiet with the excellent Filham Park close by and the village and shops of Ivybridge are a short walk or drive away.
