The location was excellent with plenty of onsite parking. All of the food and drinks we had were top notch. The staff were helpful and friendly. We were heading out for a potter around Skipton and a lovely lady gave us great recommendations of where to go. We had fantastic weather and were able to take advantage of the beautiful beer garden, though even if it had started to rain there were a number of cute little covered cabins for waiting out the rain in. The bed was super comfy and the shower was tall enough my 6'4" husband could comfortably stand under the rain shower head! We would absolutely stay here again and were sad to have to leave this incredibly charming place.

Accommodation was in a separate building which worked well as it was isolated from the pub so it was shielded from the entertainment on the Saturday night which went on until late but we were undisturbed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening after arrival and enjoyed a very nice meal and some good wine. Interesting range of options for breakfast. We opted for the full breakfast butty and beans on wholemeal toast (vegetarian option) which were both really good and excellent value. Good range of coffee and attentive staff. We were joined by friends for breakfast and stayed the morning at the pub for a really enjoyable start to the day. It was Garden Festival weekend so lots happening and you became aware of the real community spirit that exists in the village. We popped to Skipton early afternoon and had a late afternoon tea on the steam train at Embsay - another worthwhile venture!

We loved the beds, they were so comfortable and we had the best night sleep we’ve had in ages! We also loved the design of the apartment, it was absolutely beautiful. The apartment was spotlessly clean! And lastly, the host Steve, was brilliant! Thank you so much for a beautiful stay.

I liked the cottage and the style of it. I was impressed with all the amenities in the cottage. Every possible item seems to have been thought of and was available for use. Very comfortable and stylish.

Lovely hotel, good location, we booked it as a base to get...

Lovely hotel, good location, we booked it as a base to get into Barnoldswick. Easy to book a taxi into Barnoldswick. The bar was well stocked and managed. The hotel served food until 9pm, we however only had breakfast there. Breakfast was good, self service in the bar area. Room 1 was very small not really for a couple, more suited to single room. Only one side table and one chair. Shower cubicle a bit small. Room 22 ( our riends room) however was large and 2 double beds !

The hotel was a complete surprise - lovely room with great views and our car right outside. Very snuggly bed, truly lovely staff, really nice food too. The only slight blip was the outdated bathroom however, it was still better than others we have stayed at (why do some venues only offer a tiny sink?). Overall, very happy to return, and for much longer. Exceptional value.

You just felt welcome from the minute you arrive and this continues throughout your stay. Food was good too. There was a leaflet showing walks from the hotel what a great idea, and the one I took down to the canal was very enjoyable. I didn’t see any member not looking to see if they could help a customer all were a credit to the management what a great team.

From check in to leaving this was a great place to stay. A really great find. Everything was good from the room to the food which I would highly recommend. It was good for visiting places in either Lancashire or Yorkshire.

The cleanliness of the restaurant/ bar and the rooms was outstanding The food was out standing as was the service. Very polite and friendly staff who were always on hand to help and serve. It’s a long time since I have stayed overnight in a hotel with such fantastic staff, food and rooms.

This will be our fourth stay here. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, as with many hotel some areas such as the bathrooms are a little dated, but perfectly functional and clean. We have visited over the past four years, and each time have seen a significant amount of money invested in this hotel. And areas improved every visit. Lovely pleasant staff. Nicely decorated rooms. The outdoor areas have been cleverly designed for comfort space and relaxation. Electric vehicle charging station.
