Beautiful, clean bed&breakfast. We love these heritage style locations. Everything was as described. The location quiet and beautiful. Ten to fifteen minute drive to the WB studios. Easy to get to London by train. I recommend to eat dinner there, the food is absolutely amazing.

If you and your partner want to have a drink at the bar and...

If you and your partner want to have a drink at the bar and forever be waiting for a member of staff to not be available, pay daft prices for a drink, sleep on 2 singles pushed up beds pushed up together when you pay for a double bed, get woken up by a knock on the door for housekeeping then pay £114 for a night all yours. Just don’t look at the pictures of the hotel you probably won’t even see half of it when you turn up. They use that for events otherwise your room is the other side of the building to see the rest. The rooms are just standard too nothing special.

The staff were really polite and helpful. The room was nice and tidy and clean, the bathroom was the only let down with the tub having no plug and the shower head was spraying all over the place with low pressure. The food was excellent and not over priced.

The room was comfortable and the bed was great.

The room was comfortable and the bed was great. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bar area was great but small and crowded (we picked a busy time) The big disappointment was the food - Sunday evening meal was bad, very dried out mash, rock hard roast potatoes and a completely inedible Yorkshire pudding (obviously the last meal of the Sunday lunches). The chicken pie was good. The breakfast was awful.

Nothing to like.

Nothing to like. Toilets dirty, room not that clean, food menu for evening meal poor and we were very ill after eating it. Charged £26.50 for breakfast when only had toast due to being ill all night. Fire doors slamming shut all night , dirty linen left on top of stairs all night

Polite and professional reception staff. The room was beautiful, clean and fully equipped with what we would need. We also had our evening meal and breakfast at the hotel; the staff were very professional and the food was delicious, and varied. We had one member of our party who is vegetarian and there was plenty of choice for her too. The location was perfect for visiting Warner bros studios.

Close to the Harry potter studios which is why we were travelling, cheaper than most hotels in the area. Staff were very friendly. Grounds were stunning. On arrival was told there's a fountain in the garden that was in the Harry potter films which was an unexpected bonus. Plenty of choice at breakfast.

Excellent location, nice outlook over Chipperfield common. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was good, also the meal taken in the hotel on our first evening. Parking on site was a bonus.
