The staff were amazing, really kind and friendly cannot say how good the staff were. Food was really good and the bed was very comfy and great views from our window 😄I would definitely book again to stay here, really cannot put down in words how good it was, thank you to the staff who worked so hard to make our stay there amazing even with a reduced team.

Good value clean single rooms with a comfortable bed, chest of drawers and washbasin. You have to provide your own sleeping bag which is fine. Small dining room with table and TV. Clean well equipped kitchen. One clean shared bathroom with decent shower. Lots of car parking. Hotel next door with bar and restaurant (closed when I was there early March) Great situation with easy car access to Torridon and Glen Carron peaks

Absolutely the location in a beautiful town.

With spectacular mountain views, Gairloch Highland Lodge overlooks Gairloch Harbor. It is a quiet base with a lounge, bar, free internet access and a drying room.

We were greeted warmly by our host and given a complete tour of the property. The breakfast was excellent! There was a great variety, and we were even served our meal on the second day of our stay.

The Strathcarron Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Strathcarron. Located around 17 miles from Eilean Donan Castle, the hotel is also 19 miles away from Kyle of Lochalsh.

This is going to be a little different as far as my Scotland reviews go...The hotel is 160 years old. There are some things that just can't be improved in such an old building. With that said, a little paint and new carpet would be great. But that is not the draw of this hotel. The rooms are small with the smallest TVs I have ever seen in a hotel. But no mind. The pub is the draw. Richard told us when we checked in to come down after we got settled. He introduced us to the pub staff, his wife (Becca), and other hotel guests (hi Bryan and Bridgette). We had an absolutely lovely evening. Drinking, eating dinner, and talking with everyone. That was an experience I would not trade for a bigger room.

We liked the spaciousness of the room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the shower was large, and there was even a small fridge in the room! We had the room at the back of the building, which was quiet and private. Lovely place to stay.

On the shores of Loch Gairloch, Shieldaig Lodge is one of the few remaining traditional Highland shooting Lodges open to the public.

Felt like a step back in time. but with modern bath23rooms and heat. Chef Jerome created a very, very memorable 7 course dinner that was superb!

The Wee Coolins-holiday home with wood burner is located in Strathcarron, just 17 miles from Eilean Donan Castle and 19 miles from Kyle of Lochalsh.
