Parking is an issue in the area due to permit requirements. You can arrange with hotel in advance and this would be nice to know. We couldn’t get breakfast as we had to leave early for flight and the guys organised a takeaway bag with sandwiches and fruit. Life saver!

Friendly, cheerful, helpful staff. My very nicely decorated room, with large soft bed (though stacked with too many pillows and cushions), and a small but good bathroom with bathtub, was something I looked forward to at the end of the day. very convenient for local National trust properties -Scotney Castle and Sissinghurst are very near . The Vineyard is a pub with just 3 converted two storey 'bedsits' excellently converted though with spiral staircase to the bedroom . Nice small patio outside the room. Very good value for money. The food was excellent -fresh seafood well cooked and served.

Pretty Kent village and very convenient for Scotney Castle (NT) nearby. Teise and Coffee cafe in the village, very good breakfast, particularly useful as the Vineyard where we stayed overnight did not serve breakfast on weekdays, only weekends. However, it does not open until 10am and is closed on Mondays. Some lovely old buildings in Lamberhurst and near the Vineyard Pub is the Lamberhurst Vineyard. Would probably not stay at the Vineyard again due to its proximity to the road and also the steep spiral staircase joining the two floors.

Lovely location and room. First time I have stayed in a hotel room with an upstairs bedroom (Scotney) so that was different. Eat in the restaurant the evening of our stay and it was very tasty. The highlight of the room was the shower. Could of stayed in there all day.

Very clean, well equipped, recently refurbished to a good level. Would be great for a longer stay as more independence than a hotel. Several pubs in vicinity but have to drive to them as no footpath or lights on busy road.

Amazing boutique hotel, just 4 rooms within the pub grounds. Rooms have a small terrace which is a lovely bonus and freshly cooked breakfast. Great value for money and within walking distance to scotney Castle.
