What a perfect little getaway! We didn't arrive until late and Robin met us with a torch. Which was much appreciated! I have to say that usually when you look at the pictures of places they are always smaller in real life. That isnt so with this place. Quite the opposite! The beams, the furniture, the pictures and books are all beautifully thought out and interesting. Everything has been thought of, it is pure comfort. We were going to have a day out on the Saturday but just stayed in until the evening. I love birds, so just sat on the very comfy sofa enjoying watching them on the feeders. Especially on the frosty sunday morning. Very relaxing. The local pub is a very short walk away. Very friendly locals including the dogs! Will definitely be back. We didnt want to leave. A lot of love has gone into the whole place and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for sharing your little corner of heaven with us! And also was delightful seeing spring pushing through the ground x

The three of us were guests for two nights during our stopover on our journey home from Wales to Germany. We were warmly welcomed by John and were able to relax and rest well before continuing our journey home. John and his family were super friendly and the log cabin was cosily furnished. On the second evening we also had a cloudless sky and were able to watch the stars. The location is great: very quiet and you feel very close to nature. We will definitely be back. It was such a lovely experience. The property was clean and cosy. There were plenty of towels, pillows and fire wood. We was left complimentary hot chocolates , biscuits and marshmallows which was a really nice touch for the kids.

Staff were excellent, The rooms quiet and well presented everywhere was modern and clean. The bay tree restaurant has amazing food- absolutely delicious. Great selection of drinks at the bar- loved the conservatory.
