The bridge, of course is the highlight, it is a really attractive feature - probably the most attractive bridge I have ever encountered. Pretty town on the Menai Strait with lots of historical interest (the Telford Menai suspension bridge, the Victorian Britannia railway bridge). Lovely views across the water. Great pubs and restaurants available, particularly Dylan’s (a small North Walian chain with local produce) and The Freckled Angel. Easy to get around on foot. We visited Plas Newydd (NT), Newborough Forest, Rhos Neigra, South Stacks (RSPB) and Beaumaris. Menai is just at the tip of the island and just over the beautiful bridge, a sight you will never get tired of. Everything is easily drivable, lovely beaches, you are spoilt for choice. The lady works very hard and does all the cooking and cleaning herself. She hardly ever leaves, so is always on hand if anyone needs anything. I was able to have gluten free bread and a vegan cooked breakfast, plus a choice of 2 vegan milks for my cereal. The gentleman kindly gave me a lift in his car a couple of times, which I was very grateful for. (As I don't drive and have health issues.)
