An off the beaten track, idyllic rural destination in onr of the most beautiful counties in England. If you like peace and quiet, fabulous views and that sense of relief when you arrive somewhere that exceeds your expectations then this is for you. The loft is much biggger than I thought from the pictures and is amply divided into kitchen/dining/sitting room and bedroom area. Sep shower room/loo. It's near Rye and other places to visit. We walked from Rye to Camber. Beautiful. A lovely walk to Peasmarsh Church. We will definately be staying at The Great Escape again. Peasmarsh itself is a quite charming place.
Peasmarsh itself is a quite charming place. It has a local market and petrol station/car wash. Pub and accomodation for visitors. We used Peasmarsh as a base for visiting places such as Rye which is a very charming town which reminded me of the good old days Camber Sands which has one of the best beaches you will find anywhere in the country. It is situated in a lovely part of the country. We stayed at the Great Escape which is a row of chalets with bedroom and shower room. A nice veranda with a small table and two chairs outside and in. In the grounds of a pub called The Oak. This is a smashing pub for really good food and drink at reasonable prices.
