We really liked staying at Knockendarroch. The hotel is located in a gorgeous, historical building on top a hill, offering great views of the Pitlochry area. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There plenty of parking on the premises. The hotel offers great breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of options to pick from. We also had our dinners at the hotel restaurant as well. The dinner was delicious as well. Each day, there is a different dinner menu (appetizer, main and dessert). We tried several items. We really liked venison, lamb and pork roulette. Pitlochry and the area offer a lot of great place to explore. Other further away sights, Balmoral, Perth or St Andrews, are easily reachable on a day trip.

A pleasant little town. Plenty of good walks in the area. Could visit without a car and find it very pleasant. The dam and visitor centre are worth seeing. The Festival Theatre is excellent and the “Enchanted Forest” light and music experience in October and early November is not to be missed.

Pitlochry is a beautiful Highland Perthshire town surrounded by lovely countryside and hills. It's an excellent centre for walking and cycling, while its Festival Theatre has a programme of performances throughout the year. It's a place my family and I have visited many times over the years. We were there at the time of the annual Enchanted Forest event (though didn't attend) - and impressive light and sound show in the middle of a forest, which is particularly great for children.

A beautiful accessible little town.

A beautiful accessible little town. Fabulous independant shops and restaurants. Pitlochry is gorgeous all year round but particularly in the Autumn. Locals are very welcoming. A wee visit to the gorgeous St Brides RC chapel is recommended. And the Seafood Linguine in the Auld Smiddy is to die for. Thanks to everyone who made our stay special 🧡

Pitlochry is a beautiful town, but now so many visitors you cannot get in any restaurants unless booked in advance and walking on the street is hazardous for anyone with mobility issues as you have to keep trying to avoid people not looking where they are going.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel, which was beyond our expectations. The staff are so helpful and kind, we felt like home. Much attention was payed to the details of comfort, functionality and elegance, making the rooms exceptionally welcoming and stylish. The breakfast was delicious and had everything we wanted. The public areas were very spacious, especially the breakfast room with a pleasing, open outlook onto the garden. The bedroom was also spacious with a good sized bathroom. There is a long tree lined drive into the hotel, however it took around 8 minutes to reach the Pitlochry main street.
