A small town with big history!
A small town with big history! The Elizabethans, Stuarts, Georgians, Victorians and Edwardians have all left their own mark on the market town which is rightly proud of its history and appears to take care of it too. Narrow historic streets and lanes are worth walking around due to eclectic mix of shops and dining places in amongst the usual high street names, barbers and nail bars. The photo made the room look more spacious than it actually was, there were too many things in such a small room, and items added since the photo was taken that made the room uncomfortable to use. Noting 8m in the offering did not translate as the photo. The host is lovely and really would do well to buy a bigger place and transfer her skills there. Nobody at the Coach House when we arrived, waited 30 minutes for some one to be there. The room was not in the main building, it was clean but more like a motel in the middle of nowhere. They were not very friendly gave us the key to the room and that was it. We decided not to stay and booked a room at The Old Bull Inn in Royston. We didn't actually visit the town of Royston and the Coach House Hotel is a bit off the beaten track but ideal for the Duxford Imperial War Museum and not too far from Audley End House, which was our main reason for choosing this hotel and the beautiful city of Cambridge is not too far away and a must see.Guest review byPamelaUnited Kingdom

Went to a wedding nearby and needed a place in Royston for a night. Our room had everything we needed. It was spacious, very clean, very quiet and looked very recently refurbished. It had a shared bathroom, but we never saw anybody else using it. Came with a massive shower and a separate toilet too. Breakfast was very tasty and affordable. Very friendly owner.
