Buses to the Eden project left from the railway station...
Buses to the Eden project left from the railway station which was 5minutes away. No buses to the Heligan gardens on a Sunday so had to take taxis. St Austell town centre is dated and needs some TLC , but...
St Austell town centre is dated and needs some TLC , but around the ring round is everything you need to make your stay great. Big Asda, lots of resteraunts, and the usual chains. There is some amazing beaches, countryside, walks in and around St Austell. And , it's a brilliant base for all things Cornwall, very well connected. Carlyon and Petewan beaches are fantastic. Nice 'beach hut' decor and expensive toiletries (I'm very sensitive/allergic to perfumes and always slightly dread cheap toiletries in hotels, but they were very nice). . .Very good value for money.
