Settle is a lovely little town.
Settle is a lovely little town. We were there in the rain, but could still enjoy what it has to offer. The musuem is free to visit and a good way to learn a little of the history. Nice Chinese take-away thats good value too. Scenery nearby is stunning- would definitely recommend taking the train to Carlisle, across the Ribblehead viaduct. (Road route of settle to hawes is beautiful too, even in a downpour) We would definitely like to return to the area. A weekend visit was too short!Guest review byAngelaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Only a few rooms, which are quite small but beautifully appointed. Meals are not included, but we had an excellent dinner and a basic breakfast, with special provision of gluten-free food (and beer!) at my request. By chance, we arrived on quiz night and enjoyed a lovely atmosphere in the company of the village residents.
