Location is perfect for coming off the ferry from France. The bed was so comfy we didn't want to get up!! Room was lovely and clean .Breakfast choices perfect and the staff all very friendly.

The staff were excellent. They were welcoming, attentive and nothing was too much trouble including corresponding helpfully after we had left regarding lost property. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were modern and well organised. The supplied bathroom products were lovely. Breakfast offered a wide range of tasty choices and was well set out.

    The staff who serve at the bar and food halls are good. The rest walk around ignoring you. There is no phone charging points in the bedrooms. The food was good though and though advertised as dog friendly there is no where to exercise your dog. Don’t think the golfers would enjoy the competition.

    Instructions on how to find the property could be improved. The property had a pleasant outlook and it was very peaceful. There was a paved patio outside the property but the furniture on it needed replacing.

    Staff nice & food okay, but had to pay to use the pool!!! Didn't know this & if I did I wouldn't of booked. Hotel is dated inside & our superior room which we paid extra for wasn't the best & would of said it was a standard room. Paid too much for the accommodation & will not be returning

    Very friendly staff, swimming pool and facilities very well kept and the kids loved it. The only down side was the restaurant/bar area had only 2 members of staff and was fairly busy, long waiting for the order and then the food came out at long distance as we were 4 adults and 3 kids we couldn't have dinner all together. Apart of that I would defently recommend and we will be back.

    Breakfast was great value for £10.

    Breakfast was great value for £10. A huge plus point was the free Tesla chargers. Bar area and food was perfect for our larger group and added bonus of the pool table. Hotel was only 20 minutes from gun wharf shopping outlet.

    Shedfield appears to be a just a main road with an estate...

    Shedfield appears to be a just a main road with an estate and a few houses. Wickham down the road is very pretty - a co op, chip shop, takeaways. But central location for all the popular local attractions - Portsmouth, Southampton, Beaulieu, Chichester. You would need a car to stay here.

    Breakfast great. Plenty of choice. They advised they will be doing evening meals in the future which will be a great asset. Room well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Nice lounge areas to sit and read a book/magazine, away from the room. I like the fact you get a normal room key rather than the swipe cards most hotels have these days which seem to fail a lot! WiFi was working OK in the room this time (which it wasn't on our first stay a few weeks earlier).

    Good value and staff extremely good, very helpful and appeared to enjoy their work. Found it very convenient for visiting Utilita Bowl which is 6 mile away and reachable without having to negotiate M27. Also Hotel is a 10 mins walk from very good real ale pub, the Wheatsheaf. Far better value than staying in Pompey
