This place is a hidden gem. The room was large and basic, with everything that we needed. Very clean, comfy beds, lots of extra pillows. The room had an iron and ironing board, which was very useful, expecially if your there for business. The bathroom was great with a bath and constant hot water. The bar connected to the rooms, was very nice, with a log fire, a great selection of drinks and very taste food, and the breakfast was excellent. A full English with the best sausages I have had for a long time. I need to know what they are. The best part of this place is the staff. I highly recommend this, expecially if your there for business.

Great hotel, I liked the location half way between London Stansted and London, trains run every 20/30 minutes. The staff was nice, breakfast also. I can only recommend this hotel.

    The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. The room was larger than I thought it would be with an additional bed, no additional fee though :) There was everything I could have needed in the room - iron and ironing board, heater, fan, hair drier, tea, coffee and biscuits.

    Close M11 and Stansted.

    Close M11 and Stansted. A small village with some local shops. Good location to explore Essex and South Suffolk, lots of things to see nearby. The roads are narrow and there are lots of small villages with speed limits. A popular area for cyclists and bikers.

    The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The food was exceptional, would use them again but unfortunately no more events expected in their location. Only negative was the man who helped serve breakfast, he was not dressed appropriately - it looked like pyjamas but likely shorts & T-shirt

    Nicest people imaginable, spotlessly clean, great food, quant and very characterful bar and dining area. Made to feel genuinely welcome by a family run pub/hotel. I wish there were more places like this, my whole stay was a total pleasure. I’d passed the place many many times and how no idea how delightful it could be.

    I like the country pub feel of The Cock Inn at Sheering. The location is ideal for access to the M25 and the regular business trips that I need to make to the North London and Essex region. Great value for money. I'll be back.
