Tons of things to do for all ages. Everything in walking distance. Close to two of the best parks in the West Midlands. Extremely relaxing. Great quality of food and great variety. Right be a great cinema. The old town has changed beyond recognition. Empty shops except for charity shops and 'The Mall', The quality of goods on sale rather poor unless you shop in one of the Pound Shops, John Lewis or Apple. 30 years has impacted negatively on the old Town, M & S gone, House of Fraser, good manners all gone, litter in the streets, even the coffee shops had dirty tables, litter on the floor, sad. The host Theresa was very welcoming and attentive, and was keen to give us information and advice on where to eat, etc. The location is excellent for walking in to Solihull centre, accessing the NEC by car, and Birmingham centre by train.
