Gorgeous bedroom which has been beautifully decorated, friendly service, tea, coffee and biscuits in room, very comfortable bed, everything you need (e.g. iron and ironing board, shower gel and shampoo etc). The hotel was in a perfect location, and my whole experience of staying there was exceptional. Everyone was so hospitable, from arranging an early check-in to chatting about the local area and giving advice on travel (it was extremely icy conditions, and they advised where to avoid driving). The hotel was spotless, quiet, and my room was spacious and with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

    Lovely decorated room, very clean which is very important to...

    Lovely decorated room, very clean which is very important to us. Kitchenette was well stocked and looked after. Comfy beds. Breakfast was nicely done. Good location for exploring area. Let down by the shower which was small and the room was hot (summer) so probably perfect in the winter. Couldn't open all the windows only the velux ones and we got the kitchen smells and heat coming through from the pub next door. Entrance to the rooms was by the pub kitchen which looked unsightly and dirty- screening off would be a good idea to make it look more appealing. No proper hotel reception area when we arrived, just walked into the pub and asked at the bar - need to make it more welcoming. Overall nice stay for a couple of nights, though quite expensive compared to the standard hotels chains and not luxury enough to be boutique.
