So charming, well appointed, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The clawfoot tub was a big bonus! The hosts were absolutely lovely, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Breakfast was perfect. Couldn’t fault a thing.

Firstly, the location is fantastic, you are in the towns scenic harbour, with beautiful views and easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and historic sites. Then you have first class accommodation, clean, very comfortable and homely surroundings. Definitely would highly recommend to anyone coming to Stonehaven. The place is perfectly located at less than two walking minutes from the seaside and right in the centre of the city. The parking lot under the apartment would've been a timed one, but when we asked the police about it, they told us we shouldn't worry. The inside is so comfortable with two big televisions, a big and soft sofabed and a perfect bedroom. Also, the place is at around five minutes from the natural reserve of Fowlsheugh where we could see some puffins, and still five minutes away from the Dunnottar Castle. We really appreciated the stay

Stonehaven is a lovely little town with lots of pubs and cafe in which the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is lots to do for both adults and children. The walk along the front is fantastic and guaranteed to clear the head. A visit to Dunnottar Castle is also a must!

We loved the quaint shops the market place to people watch . The beach front walks discovering the harbour. I personally found it for a woman alone walking in the early morning s very relaxing dog walkers were friendly and l enjoyed my pace and looking at architecture and the amount of cafe s and entertainment fir kids and adults .

The walk along the harbor has some great art installations.

The walk along the harbor has some great art installations. A 2.5 mile hike takes you to Dunnottar Castle with a war memorial along the way. Breathtaking views along the coastal walk. We didn't get out of the harbor but there was a coop store close by and only a mile from the train station.

Stonehaven is a lovely town with good transport links to the surrounding area. There are a variety of shops and places to eat with something for everyone. As regular visitors to Stonehaven we always eat at our favourite Indian restaurant, Carron to Mumbai. The art deco restaurant is beautiful and the food is exceptional. The owner and staff make you feel very welcome. I would recommend a visit.

Stonehaven is a cute village with 2 pubs/restaurants. Not much to do but definitely a must see! The Captains Table restaurant was lovely and must be booked in advance as very busy and turning many people away.

Walking along the sea front was lovely, it's clean and folk are friendly. It's a pebble beach, dog friendly and well used. The harbour area is picturesque, delightful to get a coffee and watch the world go by. It has a small sandy beach well used by families.

Sunnyside apartment is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and right in the centre of Stonehaven. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need, the shower has excellent pressure and the hosts had even put a christmas tree up for us. We hope to stay again and explore the area in summer.
