The location was fantastic and parking was easy, are out the front (across the road). The 2 rooms we booked did not have en-suite bathrooms however the allocated bathrooms were exclusively for your rooms so not shared. The rooms were very comfortable and had lovely views.

We were on a schools visit in the area. First time in the Cotswolds. This hotel was so warm and welcoming. Booking.com did not inform the hotel that we were 3 so they didn't know to prepare the room. Instead, the woman at reception offered us another room for our teen daughter. The rooms are comfortable and elegantly styled, great showers, and generous and delicious breakfasts. Right in the center of Stow on the Wold across from the oldest inn in England, The Porch House. Their restaurant was delicious too. Had their version of a sticky toffee pudding (with banana rum sauce) and it was yummy!

The apartment was so beautiful, everything that you could need. The kitchen has everything to prepare food. Having a modern open living room/ kitchen was nice to prepare dinner after a long day and watch some tv. The bed was comfy and the bathroom spacious and clean. I would come back

Although owners away we were made to feel welcome by very friendly staff, home made treats also enjoyed on arrival. Advised also on a variety of dinner options, we were then able to enjoy a brief walk around the town and in fact decided to change our travel plans to visit some of the interesting independent shops and take in the amazing architecture. Our substantial breakfast well cooked so no room to enjoy a cream tea later. Also noted a lot of attention to detail to make your stay comfortable.

Our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold was charming and peaceful – cobbled streets, cosy tea rooms, and friendly locals at every turn. We wandered through antique shops, enjoyed hearty pub meals, and soaked in the Cotswolds’ timeless beauty. The perfect blend of relaxation and little adventures. Beautiful, characterful village.

Beautiful, characterful village. If you’re looking for somewhere picturesque to relax with lots of quality food and drink I couldn’t recommend Stow on the Wold any stronger. Visit Folletto while you’re there. A newly opened, family run bar with amazing quality pastries and drinks and the best hosts!

You get a vibrant Cotswold town - what more do you want? Traffic in summer can be painfully slow. Do not rely on taxis as they are non-existent and so hard to get. For a night out I recommend a nominated driver in your party if you wish to go out of town.
