Beautiful, characterful village. If you’re looking for somewhere picturesque to relax with lots of quality food and drink I couldn’t recommend Stow on the Wold any stronger. We received a very warm welcome from Clifford and were treated to a cream tea on arrival, with warm scones from the local bakery, which were lush! The room was spacious. A continental breakfast was provided, with a choice of either sweet or savoury croissants, toast and granola with yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice.
