The hotel is located in a scenic part of southern metropolitan London, and had almost a village feel. It's a nice historic inn. Our room was clean and cheery, and had good air-conditioning, though we didn't need it. Breakfast (at 16 pounds) was nicely made-to-order plus cereals and fruits, etc, and the server responded to our request for quick service. By London standards, the price is good. Car park offered to the guests for free was handy.

It was so easy to self check-in and check-out from the hotel. The staff was so friendly, and they provided all the needed help from the chat promptly. The location of the hotel is great and in a quiet area. On my next stays, I will definitely stay in here, and I highly recommend the property to anyone who likes and would like to stay in the Sutton area.

    The staff vary considerably - some are friendly and really helpful whereas others are 'just doing the bare minimum'. There were some great eateries around the area and plenty of shops, bank and coffee houses. Great location with easy access to the station and the town.

    Sutton is a great location if you are wanting to travel to London or elsewhere in the country. Trains and buses are easy to source from there. The shopping area is great with good supermarkets, chemists, pubs and restaurants.

    Went to see my family.

    Went to see my family. Moved to the West Country to leave the area behind. Still trying to persuade my son etc to move near me. London is now a good place to leave, thanks to Sadiq Khan amongst other things. It can only get worse !!!!!

    Mt reason for being in Sutton was to do with a hospital visit and I stay there when I have to. I like this hotel and staff very much and they are pleasant which is nice when you are on your own. I didn't go out and about in Sutton and ate in the hotel.

    Easy to travel from Airport to Sutton.

    Easy to travel from Airport to Sutton. Good quality travel service to and from London. Sutton has a variety of different shop and places to eat or just have a coffee plus many public houses if you want a drink.

    Sutton is lovely. The shopping is good plenty of shops. Nice tidy little town. The Greyhound hotel is in Carshalton a little place just outside Sutton which has a lovely park to wander around. There is a great cafe too The Galaxy serve absolutely lovely food at very good prices too.

    Having read some of the reviews, my wife was concerned that the accommodation would be sub standard. She stayed in Room 2 just by the front door, and the room was good, all of the normal facilities of a hotel room. Bed was clean and comfortable, minimal noise, from what is a hectic location. Close to the shared facilities, but she did not use them. She is having treatment at the Royal Marsden and this is the closest accommodation, but was fine for the one night stay. Didn't use the kitchen for the Breakfast.

    This hotel is situated within 5-10 minutes walk Sutton town centre. The food was really good - I had a chicken curry and it was yummy. There was ample parking which is essential when you have been driving for a few hours. I would recommend this hotel.
