Wow what a building and the scenery made for a great stay. We had tarmac to stand my motorcycle on and I could see it from my window so relaxed instantly

A really lovely welcome awaited us when we arrived, tired, hungry and so was our dog Peg. The room was spacious, light and comfortable with the most spectacular view across the bay.

We arrived on a rainy day at the beginning of August. Although it was very busy at the bar and in the restaurant we were welcomed very warmly and could check in quickly. Our room was comfortable and the bed very cosy. We had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant. Try the haggis-filo-wraps with Irn Bru chilli jam, they are fabolous. The beefburger was very juicy and the venison steak really tasty and tender. Enjoy the cranachan. The breakfast was also very delicious and was a perfect for the day.

Breakfast was great. Our evening meal at The Old Inn was terrific. Location of Gairloch Highland Lodge is great.

Close to a small fishing harbour, The Old Inn has free parking and free Wi-Fi, near the Flowerdale Valley. The Old Inn is situated about 1.5 hours' drive from Inverness.

The accomadation was squeky clean. The owners left a book with instructions and lots of information and instructions. It couldnt be more helpful. Also there was a bookcase with books and movies, a jar with chocolate powder and even a jar with marshmallows, what is not to like about that! We could really notice that the owners cared!
