Market town which stretches either side of the River Tone...
Market town which stretches either side of the River Tone with the imposing cricket floodlights surveying the scene. The rail station is at one end of the town but the heart is at the opposite end, about a 20 min walk that takes you the shops, pubs and restaurants. No shortage of places to have a coffee, usual range of shops, demographics certainly on the older side. Library has a nice cafe to complement a large range of books including local ones. The town centre was about 10 to 15 mins walk. Lots of eateries around the area. The room was comfortable and very clean. The check in and out was easy.
