Made welcome at reception. Lovely room. Very friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely terrace overlooking the golf course. Spa and health facilities looked excellent although I did not use them myself.

Only a couple of minutes walk from the International Exhibition Centre and with ample parking, even on a very busy weekend, when I stayed. Bright, welcoming and spacious reception. Buffet breakfast, no full cooked, but bacon, beans and scrambled eggs as well as cereal and fruit. Continually replenished by the attentive staff. All the staff were courteous and professional.

The suite was very spacious, comfortable furniture, air conditioning working fine, the bathroom with a huge tub and walk in shower were brilliant. The staff has always been friendly and eager to help. The indoor pool was lovely, water temperature super for relaxing and swimming. The bar and restaurant were also clean and inviting, the breakfast, continental and full English, freshly served, was very delicious.

Breakfast was continental ,however you could pay for a good choice of cooked breakfast . Every member of staff were genuinely lovely and couldn't be more helpful . Clare was really good in letting us know of the different places to visit and made our rooms up every day to a very high standard , just a really happy and friendly person . The room was beautiful and had everything you could need as was the restaurant food and it's plush furnishing made it a really luxury place to stay.

    Room very good. Staff excellent. Had a small issue with TV which was sorted very quickly. Restaurant excellent. Bar had a good atmosphere. It's not huge so has a 'personal' feel. Felt it was well located for the Town Centre and Iron bridge Gorge, each being around 5 miles away.

    Business trip.

    Business trip. Visited Great Dawley as a guest of the Town Council for Dawley Day. Preparation for the 150th anniversary of Captain Matthew Webb's first English Channel crossing. Dawley Day was brilliant, put on by the Town Council for families and it was free. Managed to visit Telford Steam Railway for photographic reasons and drop off some of my artwork.

    I visited to go to the RAF Museum at Cosford.

    I visited to go to the RAF Museum at Cosford. Excellent museum, but part of it is currently closed for refurbishments. Don't let that put you off visiting, though. The Italian Restaurant (Radici) at Shifnal is excellent.

    Telford shopping centre is well within walking distance from...

    Telford shopping centre is well within walking distance from the Holiday inn. The centre is very large with a fantastic array of shops and places to eat. Just a short drive from Telford centre is the iron bridge gorge with the iconic iron bridge and museums which well worth a visit. Also close to Telford is RAF Cosford aircraft museum which is free to enter you only pay for parking. The aircraft museum is vast also containing the cold war collection of V bombers. There are simulators to have a ride in and hands on activities for the kids to have go at. Very impressive museum.

    Great place to visit lots to see and do Ironbridge is a must great tea rooms views are amazing and during the week quiet weekends does get very busy Pubs offer get meal deals worth checking them out

    Lots of places to see.

    Lots of places to see. The Ironbridge museums were especially interesting, much Wenlock was superb. Plenty of shops and places to eat etc. We especially liked the Woodbridge Inn near Ironbridge for food and location

    The property is located around 15 minutes away from Telford International Centre. So it met our needs location wise. We attempted to contact the property to ask about the restaurant and was unable to call them and they never responded to any messages or emails. Booking.com had to get in contact with them on our behalf. We were hesitant to continue with our booking due to the poor reviews and how it was no longer apart of the Hamlet Hotels chain. But the room was spacious, clean and was value for money.

    Best part of the stay was the reception staff. They were really helpful and the lady on the desk in the morning got my daughter some biscuits as she wanted some. We did not use any of the facilities, the lounge area with the pool tables looked good and if we stayed longer maybe I would have used the facilities, gym looked decent too. Location is good with plenty of eateries closeby and the shopping centre, hotel has a big car park too.

    Hotel is set in a quiet and peaceful location with beautiful gardens and outdoor seating areas Only 5 minutes taxi from Telford International Centre The rooms was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and a great choice of breakfast which was very tasty - all staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful Would definitely stay again
