The room was pleasant, clean and had everything I needed. I particularly appreciated the little touches like the biscuits, sweets and bottled water left in the room for me alongside the tea & coffee making facilities. I liked the fact that although the room was small, there was plenty of storage space including a cupboard, drawers, hanging space and storage cubes. I was able to unpack everything I needed throughout my stay and put my suitcase out of the way. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Even though there is a pub downstairs, the room was quiet. I even had the windows open in the night and didn’t hear much noise coming from downstairs or outside (apart from the odd bird tweet)

Lovely hotel surrounded by trees and well Kept grounds. Food was excellent and the staff were so friendly welcoming and helpful. Rooms were decorated beautifully and big beds! First impressions driving in were how lovely it all looked. The pub in the village is traditional and has an old charm and warmth. Absolutely cannot take our stay and have rebooked.

Jane was very welcoming, a fantastic host and extremely accommodating to our extra request. The accommodation had everything needed and more. Well thought out accomodation. The cooked breakfast was exceptional. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was outstanding and the house was quirky, spacious and perfect for our stay. Everything was provided and the host was friendly and checked on us. Fantastic garden and grounds with lots of wildlife and space for grandchildren to play. Quiet and relaxing. Would love to visit again.

    Beautiful town, with a nice park, and lovely countryside...

    Beautiful town, with a nice park, and lovely countryside setting. I enjoyed the local pubs and coffee shops. Everything in walking distance. Public transport is decent but sparse, for example the 16 bus that connects to Kettering comes once every two hours, so make sure to plan so you don't miss it! Being a small town, don't expect all the conveniences of city life, most places in town are closed on Sunday! With those things in mind, I would recommend Thrapston for a peaceful getaway to unwind and decompress.

    Found people in the pubs very friendly and would recommend small local toy shop jolly’s toys & games. extra friendly and knowledgeable about the area, Would not recommend The Den at the Auburn Fox as hoovered whilst we were having cream tea and felt more of a nusiance to them rather than paying customers

    Thrapston is very pretty and hasn't changed much

    Thrapston is very pretty and hasn't changed much The bridge hotel is on the river nene which is lovely. It is very near the motorway so handy for venturing out on day trips e.g. wickstead park in Kettering.

    Hotel it self wasn't to bad not really alot to do there they...

    Hotel it self wasn't to bad not really alot to do there they did do a nice pint in the bar, the room it self was very spacious but extremely cold no heating in the room what so ever it was - 1 outside and felf about the same in the room couldn't even have a shower as to cold, went down at 12 and the main door was locked no one around ended up leaving early in the morning to get home in the warm still no one around at the desk so had to unlock the door myself and leave couldn't wait to get home in the warm to be honest as I'd had to sleep with my clothes on all night to keep warm very disappointed I dout I will stay there again for definite

    If you like rivers, lakes and country walking then this is for you. We liked it so much we have agreed to buy a house here. Small town with friendly people, a market a every week and within easy access of Rushton Lakes.

    Location ideal as near A14 for overnight stop. Room clean and well equipped -nice touch having small fridge in room. Arrived late evening so dined at hotel. Small menu choice but freshly cooked and very tasty. Plentiful breakfast including both continental and full English well worth the extra cost on room rate. Hotel looks very tired from the outside but it is an old building so don’t let external put you off staying. Inside clean, warm and appears refurbished although furniture a little dated.

    Great position in the small market town of Thrapston. An old Court House nicely converted to a pub downstairs with guest rooms above. The room was cozy but well provisioned and new milk, biscuits etc provided each day. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival and helpful providing information about the local area. We enjoyed an evening meal there, and understand food has only recently been added.

    The house is conveniently located for Thrapston village, with its amenities & nearby walking trails. A dedicated car parking space is available at the rear of the property, for easy unloading of luggage etc. The house was clean with modern decor and fans available in each room for warm weather. It was also useful to have a small enclosed garden for our dog.
