The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, to order, and delicious. When I had to leave before breakfast on the last day, they packed me a substantial lunch to take. Definitely will stay again and recommend.

It was a nice old traditional English pub, spacious and welcoming. Rooms nicely furnished. Great that we could just go down into the pub for our evening meal which also good. The breakfast was amazing.

I didn't visit Tiverton itself. I was there to study so spent most of my time in my room working and would have appreciated a better outlook, but the restaurant gave attractive views of the river and the old bridge over the Exe.

I did not expect to go into 4 different rooms and be met by dust on chairs in all the rooms they tried to change me to. Worse still gums on a bed spread cover that l showed to the Receptionist and the Manager.

Tiverton was a great little town with lots of independent shops & places to eat . Tiverton Canal Horse drawn barge trip was highlight of our break We visited 2 National TRust properties nearby too. Everything was very easy in close proximity to Pippins - with easy access to parking Food at Rose & Crown pub Calverleigh was very tasty & landlord friendly We have already recommended the accommodation to friends & family

Tiverton is a beautiful town with interesting and historic...

Tiverton is a beautiful town with interesting and historic buildings. Great individual shops in the town and beautiful canel with horse drawn barge experience which was amazing. The town was dead after about 4pm. The crime and anti social behaviour seemed to be high compared to other Devon Towns but we did not witness anything too uncomfortable apart from a couple of very drunk people who were very loud.

i loved seeing my relatives even though it was for a very sad occasion, the weatherspoons pub was great and the pub just a bit along the road on the opposite side called the seven stars i think,definatly something stars anyway. All the people i came across in tiverton were friendly and polite, bought back great memories of when i was growing up as we used to visit the area almost every year visiting our lovely family in rackenford and tiverton, A huge difference to Luton Where i born and bought up !

Tiverton buildings were full of character as we walked around the so called town but not much to do I thought Tiverton was something of nothing really, not for me but go yourself and see what you think as we have all different expectations

This hotel finds the sweet spot between relaxed and formal. The decor has been regularly updated over the last 25 years that I have been passing through. The gardens are lovely too. The staff in the dining rooms and lounges were super friendly and professional. Our food in the evening and breakfast was great. The beds were comfy. Tea and coffee in the room, a fan, Tv, WiFi, iron and ironing board also in room.

We stayed at the Globe whilst visiting Tiverton for a wedding. It was absolutely fabulous. From checking in to checking out nothing was too much trouble The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the best breakfast we have had whilst staying away and our evening meal was also delicious!! Fabulous owner and staff made our stay most enjoyable. We can't wait to visit again !!

I so enjoyed my stay and was grateful for the warmth and kindness of the hosts, a very comfortable room with a beautiful view of the river, and delicious breakfasts each morning. The guest house is also a short walk away from Tiverton bus station, which was perfect for me as I was without a car.

Excellent location. 12 minute walk to Tiverton bus station. 15 minute drive to Tiverton railway station with large car park. 10 minute walk to Tiverton town. Plenty of choice at breakfast and bar meals in hotel. Friendly staff.
