This is going to be a little different as far as my Scotland reviews go...The hotel is 160 years old. There are some things that just can't be improved in such an old building. With that said, a little paint and new carpet would be great. But that is not the draw of this hotel. The rooms are small with the smallest TVs I have ever seen in a hotel. But no mind. The pub is the draw. Richard told us when we checked in to come down after we got settled. He introduced us to the pub staff, his wife (Becca), and other hotel guests (hi Bryan and Bridgette). We had an absolutely lovely evening. Drinking, eating dinner, and talking with everyone. That was an experience I would not trade for a bigger room.

this is a beautiful property and didnt disappoint, the room was clean and tidy and the restaurant was an added bonus with wonderful food my favourite meal was the scollops so delisious, the staff were very helpful and the falconary demonstration was awesome, would highly recommend this property.

Very unique experience. Hosts were super amazing & really friendly. They were very accommodating and genuine in all interactions. This is more a warmer weather experience. Suggest the cabins in colder seasons. Teepee was sturdy, warm and bed quite comfy.

Beautiful location, a good base for our activities in the area. The street was pretty quiet, little to no noise at night. Both of us are quite noise-sensitive so this was appreciated. The entertainment/streaming options were nice and easy to figure out. Rooms were a good size, beds comfortable. The home was tidy. Parking along the street was never a problem.

Located in Gairloch, The Millcroft offers 3-star accommodations with a bar. Free WiFi and free parking is available. All rooms are fitted with a private bathroom, while most rooms offer sea views.

Cozy, well maintained, excellent customer service. Table service breakfast was included. The bed was extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The property is really quite beautiful and Duncan made sure that we had everything we needed.
