Everything. We needed to last minute ask for a different room (two separate beds because my wife was sick), and they accommodated us with no extra charge, and it was a perfect room. Everyone was helpful, plus our best dinner meal in Scotland (here a week prior), and they even provided a child's portion of a meal for me to bring to my wife, and allowed us to have breakfast brought up to the room (and hostess even carried it up for me). Room very comfortable, quite, restful. No regrets at all that we choose to stay here.

This hotel is in a great location, so quiet and accessible from the M74. There is plenty of free parking. The Classic Scottish breakfast was freshly cooked with ingredients - delicious. The room was large and clean, with comfy beds. I heard nothing from the other residents, I thought I had gone deaf! The staff were great, friendly and helpfu.

    Lovely little town next to historic Bothwell.

    Lovely little town next to historic Bothwell. Lots of trees and attractive properties near the Hotel Baba, previously named The Redstones. Bus stop and routes to Glasgow outside the hotel and excellent train links from the station just 5 minutes walk. Nice little independent shops and cafes in the Main Street. Ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to make visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh quick and easy by public transport or car. The Turkish restaurant at Hotel Baba is worth a visit as is the Shanghai Tearoom in Bothwell. Bothwell Castle and the David Livingston Centre are also well worth a visit by car or walking. Both are overlooking the Clyde with beautiful scenery.

    Uddingston has become quite a lively little town, with lots of cafe's, good range of small shops and restaurants. It has a railway station with good links to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Bothwell is only a short distance away and has a lovely little castle and its own range of individual shops and restaurants.

    brilliant little village with a real High Street and a great choice of places to eat from breakfast through to dinner - ranging from traditional Scottish (Greggs and Tunnocks) to Japanese, Spanish, Italian .There are also good shops , planty of hairdressers and beauty salons and such easy access to Glasgow

    The hotel is probably Edwardian and the bedroom was very spacious with high decorated original ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in a bay window. It was light and airy, well decorated, clean and comfortable with an en-suite. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. In addition, there is an excellent Turkish restaurant on the ground floor which is very popular and well worth a visit.

    We wanted an apartment rather than a hotel, so that we had our own space to relax between family visits. We chose the location as it was close to the venue for a wedding we were attending. It was reasonably well equipped and suitable for the length of our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, plus it was close to a small grocery shop, bakers, restaurants and take-away outlets.

    Lovely hotel, tastefully decorated. 5 minute walk to hop on a train into Glasgow. Restaurant is seperate to the main bar so you can eat in nice relaxing surroundings Fantastic food, Scottish breakfast was amazing and so filling we didn't need to eat lunch.
