Kids friendly ( goodie bags at arrival For kids, snacks for the road at the departure ) - The cuisine was nothing short of amazing. Both breakfast and dinner offerings were delicious and diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes. The quality and presentation of the food were top-notch, making every meal a delightful experience.

It’s the small things that really made the difference. The kitchen was very well stocked with a selection of coffees, teas and cocoa. The host even left us a bottle of wine and some chocolates! The entire was delightful!

perfect location situated on Yarm high Street amongst plenty of pubs and restaurants even though high street noisy at night you couldn’t hear the hustle and bustle very quiet in room we arrived early and the owners were very accommodating they let us leave our luggage in room and gave us our key which was great so we could get on with our day would definitely recommend

The room was big and comfy, so was the bathroom which also has a bath tub. The pub offers great food at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was good as well.

Breakfast had a great variety and was tasty. We also had dinner there which we enjoyed. The property has great facilities such as the restaurant, gym and pool which we made use of. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

    As a Georgian, elegant market town, with the most amazing viaduct running beside the length of the High Street, Yarm has lots and lots to offer. The on-street parking is a real bonus - used to be free (time-limited), but is now very reasonably priced, and still enables visitors to be at the centre of things immediately.

    Yarm is a beautiful town and really hasn’t changed much since our last visit nearly 50 years ago. Having grown up in Eaglescliffe we wanted to take a trip down memory lane. Even our trip to Strickland and Holt on the High Street didn’t disappoint!

    Beautiful historic town with some great pubs and places to...

    Beautiful historic town with some great pubs and places to eat. Lots of good walks along the river side to other villages all with the backdrop of the iconic railway viaduct (if you're lucky, you might see the Flying Scotsman or Sir Nigel Gresley in steam crossing it). There's a wide range of good places to stay too - from the stunning Crathorne Hall to the quirky but lovely self-catering Yarm Cottages (which have the bonus of being next to the Fox Covert pub and restaurant - highly recommended. You're also just a few minutes from Preston Park, the Cleveland Hills and Roseberry Topping, with Newcastle, York and James Herriot country within easy reach.

    My family and I visited the area to celebrate my Birthday with other close family living nearby. The Old Mill Rooms were perfect to conveniently lay our heads for the night!! Peaceful & clean in a fantastic location, thoroughly enjoyed our time & would love to come again some time!!

    Yarm is a lovely, historic town - a delight in it's own...

    Yarm is a lovely, historic town - a delight in it's own right, with many very good restaurants and welcoming pubs. The cobbled streets, viaduct and bridge over the tees have some nice walks too - very picturesque. Yarm is also very well located for the North York moors and the beautiful seaside towns of Saltburn and Whitby as well as Mount Grace Priory and Fountains Abbey.

    yarm is a lovely place but parking is an issue.3 hours at the moment on the main street if youre lucky enough to get a parking spot. sainsburys just increased their free parking to 90 mins.but beware there are cameras. nice italian restaurant us who do a great breakfast.

    A very pleasant stay at Crathorne Hall! The staff were exceptionally courteous and the service throughout was warm and attentive. We especially appreciated how dog-friendly the hotel was – our Labrador was truly welcomed. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast just as delicious. The overall atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and the surrounding parkland was perfect for a morning walk with the dog.

    Such a great find. Located up a lane, away from the road, you could hear a pin drop in the night. Beautifully built, very comfortable rooms, bed was great. Lovely shower room. Staff were so friendly and breakfast fantastic. We were there to visit family in Yarm, Thornaby and Middlesbrough so this was a perfect location for us. Just a short drive into the moors too. We would highly recommend.

    The apartment is set on the high street in Yarm and is very convenient for a wide range of cafes, restaurants and independent shops. Lovely riverside walks within minutes from the apartment. We liked the space offered in the apartment and the very comfortable bed.
