Beautiful rooms. High quality and great attention to detail. Restaurant and pub were excellent as were the staff and management, they couldn’t do enough. Breakfast fantastic. When I’m next in the area I won’t be searching!! Straight to the Rose and Crown.

Excellent from time of arrival to departure, staff incredible at their job at each interaction, ensuring your satisfaction and best experience. We received a wonderful gesture for our anniversary. We are already booking for a return visit. There is a special charm, really majestic, a true experience of both opulence and magic. Such an enjoyable stay and the spa is probably one of the best for size, environmental factors and cleanliness. Our hotel room also spotless, highest of standards throughout our stay. Special thanks to Andreas Manager for our exceptional welcome, friendly and attentive nature always engaging and visibly supporting his staff and customers, like all the staff. Boringdon Hall have it spot on.

A very nice clean cottage with great facilities. The Bumble bee theme can be found everywhere the details are really nice. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We would love to come back. The only unfortunate thing was that we were only there for one night. Thank you very much.

A very cozy hotel in a picturesque little town. The hotel was in a very new and freshly renovated condition. The room was very clean and the box spring bed was very comfortable. The owners put a lot of thought into the room equipment, we had almost everything you could ask for: Bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel and hand cream, fresh milk in the fridge as well as a selection of different teas and coffee, cereals, dishes and cutlery, smart TV with internet. There was a very amazing breakfast which was brought directly to our room. Highly recommended!

    We cant really comment on the immediate surrounding area in more detail as we arrived late on a business trip. However I can recommend the general location area around Plymouth for its historic landscape and beauty. Walking in the West Country is the best way to enjoy the fresh air and take in this beautiful count. I can definitely recommend this as I lived in the area for over three years.

    The Rose and Crown was a lovely place to stay.

    The Rose and Crown was a lovely place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful at all times. It was very convenient for visiting different beaches and for walking the coast path. We found lovely paths where we didn't have to use the car, and could walk from the Rosie. It was easy to catch a bus into Plymouth to save taking the car in , and if you have a bus pass, even better.

    The hotel is central and within easy reach of the beach and...

    The hotel is central and within easy reach of the beach and moors but you need a car. The food is excellent and there are a couple of other restaurants in the area. A small row of shops is near the hotel which cover most necessities, as well as a garage and petrol station.
